Craving American Food in "Thailand"

Infinity Pool with a Private Beach View
This early July, Fiona and I traveled to Asia for one month, and our first stop was the tropical paradise Koh Samui, Thailand. We stayed at the Deva Samui resort for the latter half of Thailand. Everything about the resort was a wonderful surprise!
On my way to dinner at the restaurant By the Sea!
Nothing beats a juicy cheeseburger and a side of hot sizzling French fries

Our beautiful villa with a private pool :)
As the driver slowed down to a complete stop, a few hotel staff immediately greeted and assisted us with the luggage. Upon stepping foot into the lobby, we felt like we belonged here. Our minds were automatically washed out with peace and complete relaxation. No worries. No stress. Only tranquility. Little did we know, we decided to book a private villa with a swimming pool for the first time. When the bell boy opened the door to this luxurious private villa, we were swept off of our feet and lost our breaths. The villa was stunning. It was very romantic and cozy to one point, we had to look each other in our eyes and question our decisions. Why are we staying in such a romantic place together? We should have invited our boyfriends!

One of these nights, we were craving American food and could not resist to enjoy an American dinner. Although we loved all the authentic and flavorful Thai food, such as gaeng keaw wan (rice noodles with  curry), deep fried fish with traditional sweet, sour and spicy sauce, pad thai and more, we had our limits. With a calming ocean front and gentle sea breeze, we savored our Italian carbonara pasta, tasty fried shrimp toasts, crispy golden French fries, and a juicy cheeseburger with great satisfaction! What is your go-to comfort food?
