Dots Overload "Give Me Love"

Happy Monday everyone!!

The Zwirner gallery in beautiful Chelsea hosted a temporary exhibition featuring artist Yayoi Kusama. The exhibition entitled, Give me Love, showcased one of Yayoi’s more pivotal works, her colorful dots ensemble. It is an interactive piece where the viewer can place colorful dots of varying sizes anywhere in the exhibit to truly be involved in the artwork itself. As cliche as it sounds, her exhibit allows patrons to really spark their creative juices and gives them a chance to create a unique form of expression. Another important note is that the exhibit has a time limit. Patrons are asked to only be in the exhibit for four minutes. This aspect of the show creates a fleeting impression for visitors. It is short-lived and sweet, and the memory must be captured quickly.

Thanks for reading! What kind of art are you guys into and what museums have you visited recently?
